Associate, Digital Design at Hawkins Brown Architects

Ben is an Associate in the Digital Design team. He specializes in computational Building Information Modelling (BIM), working extensively on developing applications and add-ins that improve the way Hawkins\Brown’s design staff determine, design and deliver projects.

Ben is particularly interested in how the industry can better leverage the data stored within BIM models and was part of the team that developed the Hawkins\Brown Emission Reduction Tool (H\B: ERT). Prior to joining Hawkins\Brown, Ben was nominated for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal for his thesis project ‘The Power of Ten’ which was an urban-scale industrial sanctuary and knowledge depository based on evolutionary and biological principles.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys real-time digital visual performance, technology, and various sports; he is also a keen musician.
