Partner & Studio Lead at Hawkins Brown Architects

Rebecca began her architectural career at Queen’s University Belfast. She then worked in Bristol and Manchester before moving to work and study in the Netherlands for three years; completing her Masters at TU Delft.

This opportunity to travel and learn from leading international urban design studios broadened her understanding of the intricacies of place-making and building, and has informed her work within the Studio.

She has worked with many of the leading universities in the UK including the Universities of Oxford, East Anglia, Manchester, Newcastle and Sussex. This mixture of historic and modern; inner city and rural university contexts has strengthened her abilities to design to changing campus scales, lives sites and existing buildings of various listings.
