Bill Purdy

Bill Purdy is an accomplished leader in design and development, currently serving as Vice President of Design & Development at Hawthorne Effect, Inc. since February 2016, where a technology platform and healthcare professional network are innovating clinical trials. Prior to this role, Bill co-founded Spinapse, Inc., a design studio focused on software for mobile and web applications, and led creative teams for over a decade. Bill's earlier achievements include founding True North Studios, an award-winning educational software developer, and working as a consultant for the Edutopia foundation. Bill's extensive experience also encompasses roles at Purdy/Young and Associates and Apple's Multimedia Lab, among others, with a strong educational background, holding degrees in Educational Technology from Harvard University and postgraduate studies at the MIT Media Lab, alongside a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University.
