Santiago Uriel

Santiago Uriel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Santiago began their career in 1988 as a Jefe de Equipo at Andersen Consulting. Santiago then worked as a Director at Europa Management Consulting from 1990 to 2000. Santiago joined JPMorgan Chase in 2000 as a CTO and later became the CTO & Operations Manager. Santiago worked at the CONFEDERACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE CAJAS DE AHORRO from 2004 to 2015, initially serving as the VICESECRETARIO DE TECNOLOGÍA and later as the Secretario Técnico de la COAS. Santiago's roles at other organizations include being a member of the Board of Directors at Biometrics Institute from 2014 to 2015, President at Centro de Cooperación Interbancaria - CCI from 2013 to 2015, and a member of the Council of Administration at Iberpay from 2012 to 2015. Santiago also served as a member of various groups and committees, such as the AEN/ CTN 71/ SC 37 "Biometrics" at AENOR-ISO. Santiago's most recent role was as the Director de Tecnología y Sistemas at HAYA Real Estate from 2015 onward.

Santiago Uriel earned a degree in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 1983 and 1988. Prior to that, they attended Colegio San Patricio from 1970 to 1981.
