Kalana Piyasiri

Kalana Piyasiri is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance and operational management. Currently serving as Maintenance Manager at HAYCARB PLC since February 2022, Kalana previously held the position of Manager Operations and Maintenance at Purplty (PVT) Ltd from December 2020 to February 2022. Kalana's career spans over 16 years at AL Turki Enterprises L.L.C, where titles included Manager Cost, Lead Cost Engineer, and Project Quantity Surveyor. Earlier roles included Factory Engineer at MAS and Service Engineer at MACSA (PVT) LTD, specializing in Perkins/GM Industrial Generators, as well as Mechanical Engineer at InAIR (PVT) Ltd, an HVAC company. Kalana holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, complemented by advanced level education in Mathematics from Bandaranayake College Gampaha.
