Maheeka Silva

Maheeka Silva is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Executive in Engineering Projects at HAYCARB PLC since February 2022, contributing to the largest global supplier of coconut shell-activated carbon. Prior to this role, Maheeka worked as a Project Assistant Executive at Unilever from April 2021 to January 2022, gaining initial industrial experience in the manufacturing sector. Maheeka also completed a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Ansell in 2018, where exposure to a leading healthcare glove manufacturer was obtained. Maheeka holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, completed in January 2020.
