Clayton Hendricks has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Clayton began their career as an Engineering Apprentice at Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. in 2006 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, Hendricks joined Michigan Technological University as a Mechanical Engineering Student, where they pursued a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Enterprise. Clayton remained at the university until 2012. Additionally, Hendricks worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at HB Performance Systems from May 2012 to August 2012. In 2009, Hendricks joined Briggs & Stratton as an R&D Co-op Student and stayed there until December 2011. In 2013, they joined Mercury Marine as a Design Engineer in the Base Engine Group, serving until April 2015. Currently, Hendricks is employed at Hayes Performance Systems, where they have held various roles since 2015. Clayton started as a Design Engineer - UTV systems, and subsequently held positions such as Product Application Manager and currently serves as a Product Manager.

Clayton Hendricks received their high school diploma from Osceola School District in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they attended Michigan Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
