Vinay Deodeshmukh

Vinay Deodeshmukh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vinay started their career as a Production Engineer at International Gold Company Ltd in 1999. Vinay then worked as a Visiting Researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2001. In 2003, they joined Iowa State University and Ames Laboratory as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on optimizing corrosion and oxidation resistance of alloys and coatings for gas turbine engine components. Following this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying the corrosion and hydrogen permeation behavior of carbon steels. In 2007, they joined Haynes International as a Senior Staff Engineer, and later progressed to roles such as Market Manager, Sr. Marketing Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Vinay Deodeshmukh pursued their education in the field of engineering and materials science. Vinay first completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune, University of Pune, between 1995 and 1999. Vinay then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2000 to 2002. Finally, Vinay received their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Iowa State University from 2003 to 2007.
