Peter Williams

Peter Williams is an Independent Director at Hays. Peter has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Peter started their career as an audit junior at Thomson McLintock in 1975. Peter then moved to DMGT pension funds in 1991, where they served as a Trustee and chairman of the Investment Committee. In September 2018, they retired from this role after 27 years.

From January 1991 to December 2011, Peter was the Finance Director at the Daily Mail and General Trust plc. Peter oversaw the finances of one of the largest media companies in the UK.

Peter has a wealth of experience in both the private and public sector. Peter is a qualified chartered accountant and has a degree in Economics from the University of London.
