Joshua Cohen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biomedical research. Joshua is currently the Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Haystack Oncology, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at The Johns Hopkins University starting in 2015, where they were involved in the Ludwig Center at Johns Hopkins Medical Scientist Training Program. In 2013, they worked at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Carroll Lab. Before that, they held a summer internship position at the Segal Lab of Computational Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2012. From 2009 to 2012, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the Lauffenburger and Griffith Laboratories at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Joshua also gained research experience at the National Institutes of Health in 2011 as a Bioengineering Summer Internship Program Fellow and at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in 2010 as an Infectious Diseases Intern. Furthermore, they worked as a Visiting Undergraduate Researcher at the Platt Lab for Tissue Regeneration and Repair at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2010. Joshua'searly research experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Biochemical Pharmacology at Emory University from 2007 to 2008.
