Zachary Coomes

Zachary Coomes has a diverse range of work experience. Zachary began their career as a Camp Counselor at Camp Erdman, YMCA of Honolulu in 2015. From there, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Texas Tech University from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they had a role as a GIS Intern at Templeton Demographics. Zachary then gained experience in the political field, starting as a Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2017. In 2018, they volunteered remotely for the Beto for Texas Senate Campaign and also worked as a Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2019, Zachary Coomes was a Data Fellow at Lincoln Park Strategies. The following year, they served as a Campaign Manager for Angela Brewer for Texas House 64. In 2021, they worked as a GIS Consultant at Lincoln Park Strategies before joining HaystaqDNA as a Data Analyst.

Zachary Coomes attended Texas Tech University from 2012 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography. Zachary also completed coursework in Management Information Systems and had a minor in GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
