Julius Thomas, MA, SHRM-CP has over 14 years of experience in the Human Resources field. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Classic Cinemas Lake Theater, and then as a Facility Supervisor at Park District of Oak Park from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were employed as a Human Resources at Trinity Services Inc., where they were responsible for scheduling, payroll and benefits coordination, applicant recruitment, screening, interviewing, tracking and hiring, union relations and employee relations. In 2018, Julius became the Chief People Officer and Co-Founder at Conmitto, where they developed and executed HR policies and programs, workforce and job development, recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits and employee and labor relations. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Product Manager, Volunteer and Leadership Development for ASUG - Americas' SAP Users' Group, where they recruited and slated over 100+ volunteers and created a new onboarding module for volunteers to learn best practices for their roles in an interactive way. Currently, Julius is employed as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Hazel Technologies, Inc.

Julius Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Western Illinois University in 2014, majoring in Organizational Communication. Julieus then completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Organizational Leadership & Change Management from Concordia University Chicago in 2016. In 2022, Julius obtained a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Additionally, they obtained a CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross in 2016.
