Kristen Helgeson

Kristen Helgeson is a seasoned mental health professional with significant experience in various capacities within the mental health and addiction fields. Since November 2021, Kristen has served as a Mental Health Clinician at Ramsey County's Adult Detention Center, providing critical support in a challenging environment. Concurrently, Kristen has worked at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation since March 2016, offering individual therapy and serving in a float position as Addiction Counselor 2. Previous roles at Guild Incorporated and People Incorporated Mental Health Services have included case management for chronic homelessness, mental illness, and chemical dependency. Kristen holds a Master's degree in Addiction Studies from Hazelden Graduate School and has completed additional customized training courses, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development in mental health and recovery services.
