Cathy Vee

Cathy Vee (Volpe) has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Cathy is currently the Vice President at Array Corp, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, in 2000, they founded and served as the President of HB Staffing, a certified woman-owned small business focused on placing quality candidates in various temp, temp-to-hire, and direct hire positions. Before their time at HB Staffing, Cathy founded and served as the President of International Staffing University, a training and consulting company that provided staffing best practices to professionals worldwide. Cathy held this role from 1992 to 2014. From 1982 to 1991, Cathy worked at Spherion, where they had management responsibilities and achieved significant profitability for the company. In 1977, they founded and served as the President of Cathy ConTEMPORARIES, later known as Olive Tree Personnel, overseeing operations, P&L, staff management, and business development. Additionally, they gained sales experience at Purcell Temporaries in 1976. Cathy's early career included roles at The May Co., where they served as a Department Manager, and Gimbels Department Store, where they worked as a Buyer Assistant/Executive Trainee.

Cathy Vee (Volpe) earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing from New York University from 1970 to 1972. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's Degree in the Fashion Merchandising Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1968 to 1970. In 2015, they participated in Cohort 13 of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program at Long Beach City College. Currently, they are enrolled at ECornell, pursuing a Human Resources Management Certificate in the field of study of Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Additionally, they hold certifications as a WBENC Certified and WOSB/EDWOSB Certified individual.
