Richard W. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard started their career in 1999 at KPMG as an Assistant Manager, where they managed the onsite audit process and a team of auditors. Richard worked at KPMG for four years before joining EY for a temporary eight-week contract as an Assistant Manager, involved in year-end audits. Richard then moved on to Atkins in 2004, where they served as a Group Financial Accountant, responsible for creating quarterly presentation packs for the Board of Directors.

In 2006, Richard joined Barclays Bank as a Technical & Project Accountant in the Business Change department. Richard managed financial projects for the bank's Retail and Wealth divisions while utilizing Microsoft Project to manage deadlines and report progress. Richard worked at Barclays Bank for three years before transitioning to Ageas 50, where they held various roles. Richard began as a Senior Management Accountant in 2010 before becoming a Finance Manager at the company's retail insurance arm, Ageas 50 (Retail Insurance), in 2011. In this role, they managed the monthly reporting pack for the Castle Cover brand and was responsible for annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting processes.

Richard joined BHP Billiton in 2013 as a SAP Project Accountant, working on a SAP implementation project for the Iron Ore division. Richard partnered with Accenture and business SMEs to successfully deliver the new SAP ERP system, and provided support to the Financial Accounting team.

Since 2014, Richard has been employed at HBF Health. Richard initially served as a Senior Finance Business Partner, where their responsibilities included strategic reviews of business unit performance, monthly reporting, and annual budgeting. Richard later became a Transformation Finance Manager, leading HBF's Business Transformation Programme and providing financial management and program reporting support. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), leading a team of finance business partners and analysts. Their main tasks include delivering insightful management reporting, preparing forecasts and budgets, and producing reporting packs for senior management, the Executive, and Board.

Richard W. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Honors from The University of Manchester, specializing in Accounting and Finance, from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education and completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) certification, specializing in Accounting and Finance, from 1999 to 2002.
