Leslie Ornstein

Leslie Ornstein, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in taxation and accounting. Currently, they are serving as the Tax Director at HC Global Fund Services, LLC, where they lead a team of 55 experts and oversees tax compliance and planning for various entities. Prior to this, Leslie worked as a Tax Manager at Stone Pine Accounting Services, LLC, focusing on private equity fund structures and managing a team of 15 professionals. Leslie also served as a Tax Supervisor at Spicer Jeffries, where they recruited and coached 25 tax professionals and reviewed a substantial number of hedge fund returns. Earlier in their career, Leslie worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Erickson, Brown & Kloster P.C., where they supervised a team of eight specialists and handled tax returns for various clients. Leslie also held positions at Brenner & Associates LLC and William H. Cross CPA's, gaining experience in tax preparation, payroll tax returns, and financial statement filings. Prior to entering the accounting field, Leslie worked at Budget Rent a Car in multiple positions, including Senior Financial Analyst and General Accounting. Throughout their career, Leslie has demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, strategic tax planning, software implementation, and process improvement.

Leslie Ornstein, CPA, has a strong educational background in business management and accounting. From 1987 to 1991, Leslie attended Keene State College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree. During this time, Leslie concentrated on Business Administration and Management with a specialization in Accounting. Additionally, they also obtained an Associates degree in Computer Science from the same institution.

To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, Leslie pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Webster University. This program spanned from 1996 to 1999, equipping Leslie with advanced skills and a deep understanding of financial practices.

In addition to their educational achievements, Leslie has also obtained several certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). They received their first CPA certification from the State of Florida in August 2000. Later, in an unspecified year, they obtained another CPA license from the State of Colorado.

Most recently, Leslie achieved their third CPA certification from the State of California in May 2021. This latest certification reinforces their professional expertise and commitment to providing top-quality accounting services.
