Susan Garwood

Susan Garwood is a highly experienced medical professional, currently serving as the National Physician Director of Pulmonary Disease at HCA Healthcare since December 2019. In addition to this role, Susan is a consultant for Johnson & Johnson, Biodesix, Inc., and Medtronic, contributing expertise in navigational bronchoscopy. From November 2015 to August 2019, Susan was the Physician Lead for Thoracic Oncology at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute. Susan holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where a pulmonary/critical care fellowship was completed, and also completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Vanderbilt University.
