Jorge Iván Hinojosa

Jorge Iván Hinojosa has a diverse work experience. Jorge Iván began their career in 2006 as a Graphic Designer for Teleguia Publications, Inc., where they designed a 24-48 page weekly magazine and served as an in-house IT Technician. In 2007, they became Co-Owner and Art Director at Estampas Graficas, where they consulted with customers and designed and printed business cards, letter heads, menus, banners, posters, flyers, and vehicle decals. In 2008, they began working as a Desktop Engineer at VSA Partners, Inc., where they offered and deployed the best possible technology solutions for users and clients. In 2012, they began working as a Designer/Maker at Eres Hoja. In 2013, they became a Resident Artist and Art Collaborator at the Chicago Art Department, where they taught video and sculpture classes, acted as a concept and prototype designer, and served as a resident wood worker. Finally, in 2018, they began working at closerlook, inc. as a Technical Operations Specialist and Helpdesk Specialist. In 2022, they began working as a Senior System Engineer at HCS Technology Group.

Jorge Iván Hinojosa attended Robert Morris University - Illinois from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Film and Special Effects from the Intermedia/Multimedia department and a Bachelor's Degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects. Jorge Iván also holds certifications from Apple and Jamf, including an Apple Certified Support Professional certification obtained in November 2022 and a Jamf Certified Associate Exam - English certification obtained in August 2022.
