Paul Durbin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2002, they were a Partner in the Financial Services division at Ross & Hardies. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Partner at McGuireWoods, specializing as Bond, Borrower's & Underwriter's Counsel. In 2007, they joined Miller Canfield as Principal, providing legal counsel in various financing projects and renewable energy development.
In 2009, Paul Durbin co-founded Direct Solar, a renewable energy company that developed solar energy facilities in the US and represented overseas energy companies interested in establishing operations in the country. In 2010, they became a Board Member and Chair of the Governance Committee at SOS Children's Villages - USA, supporting the organization's mission to assist orphaned and abandoned children globally.
Since 2012, Paul Durbin has been an Advisor and Board Member for Infrastructure Investments at Ullico, Inc., focusing on infrastructure investment strategies. In 2020, they took on the roles of General Counsel at Gentium Capital Corporation and Board Member & Co-Founder at Healent.
Paul Durbin received a B.A. in Economics from Marquette University in 1991. Paul also pursued minors in Business Administration and English during their time there. Following this, they attended the University of Illinois College of Law from 1991 to 1994, earning a Juris Doctor degree. In 1999, they obtained an Executive Certificate from Georgetown University, specializing in International Finance and Capital Markets.
