Sharon Katz

Sharon Katz is an experienced System Engineer currently working at Healium Medical since 2022, with a previous role as a System Integration Engineer. Prior to this, Sharon served as a Student Lab Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University from 2020 to October 2022, with responsibilities in the course "Radiation and Imaging in Medicine." As an M.Sc research student in the Tali Ilovitsh lab at Tel Aviv University (2020-2022), Sharon developed a system for high-resolution assessment of ultrasound-mediated BBB opening and supervised project students. In the Pablo Blinder lab, Sharon established a comprehensive pipeline for analyzing neurovascular 2-photon microscopy scans and implemented advanced image processing tools. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, Sharon was a Product Manager in the IDF, leading product development in tactical electro-optics and communications. Sharon holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from Tel Aviv University.
