Ysu Umbalo

Ysu Umbalo has extensive experience in healthcare and naturopathic medicine, serving as Administrative Secretary at the Zambia Institute of Natural Medicine and Research since February 2018, where responsibilities include establishing a Naturopathic school. As a partner at Natural Doctors International since January 2018, Ysu Umbalo has enhanced global health skills for healthcare professionals and medical students. Furthermore, involvement with Columbia University's ICAP initiative, the Congo Naturopathic Physicians Association as President, and the World Naturopathic Federation as a full member emphasizes commitment to healthcare access and naturopathic standards. Ysu Umbalo founded and serves as CEO of Mercy and Care M. SOMA, an integrative clinic. Previous roles include Chief of Staff for the Provincial Ministry of Health in Haut Lomami, DRC, and current partnerships with Health Bridges International. Ysu Umbalo holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Naturopathic Medicine and a Bachelor in Biology from Warner Pacific University.
