Cori Jones has a diverse work experience in the mental health and child advocacy fields. Starting in 2014, they interned at Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc. for two months, followed by an internship at KIDS PLACE A CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER from August 2014 to May 2015. In May 2015, Cori joined Health Connect America as a Therapist/IOP Facilitator and later became a Clinical Supervisor from August 2016 to June 2018. Cori then took on the role of Director of Program Development from June 2018 to January 2022. Currently, Cori is the Director of Clinical and Leadership Development with Health Connect America, a position they have held since January 2022.
Cori Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Martin Methodist College in 2011. Cori then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Alabama, completing their studies in 2015. In 2017, Cori obtained a certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor from the Alabama Board of Examiners.
