Bob Hood has extensive experience in the health and well-being industry. Bob began their career in 1979 as the Director of Corporate Planning & Development for GATX Corp. In 1983, they moved to Bally Manufacturing Corp. as the Director of Corporate Planning & Development. During their time there, they were heavily involved with the assimilation of the acquired Health and Tennis of America organization and spearheaded the acquisition of Lifecycle Inc. In 1984, they acquired Life Fitness for Bally and became a co-owner when it was spun off in 1990. As Executive Vice President of Business and Product Development for Life Fitness, they directed the development and expansion of the product line. In 2018, they became Chief Integration Officer and Co-Owner of 24hr Virtual Clinic, a consulting firm focused on providing a broader vision and new dimensions in health and well-being solutions. Finally, they joined Health Karma in 2022 as COO and Chief Integration Officer. Their role involves providing easy, affordable access to multi-faceted wellcare solutions.
Bob Hood obtained their BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron between 1966 and 1971. Bob then went on to pursue an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management between 1971 and 1973.
