Previously, José held leadership roles such as Director of Talent Management at Sentara Healthcare, supporting over 30,000 team members, and served as the President of the NALHE DMV chapter. José's governance experience includes a role as VP of Governance for Greater Richmond ATD. José’s extensive background also includes various positions at Virginia Premier and Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, focusing on organizational development and systems analysis. José earned a B.S. in Business Information Technology with a minor in Leadership from Virginia Tech.
