Mykaila Shannon Mph

Mykaila Shannon, MPH, currently serves as a Health Equity Program Specialist and Population Health Specialist at Health Plan of San Mateo since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Treasurer at A Place of the Heart Nonprofit Organization, where Mykaila developed programs to enhance food access and promote healthy lifestyles, and as an Integra Population Health Intern at Care New England, coordinating pediatric programs for Medicaid patients. Mykaila has a strong research background from Brown University, focusing on gerontology and health care, coupled with roles in consulting and defense as an Investigative Intern. Mykaila holds a Master of Public Health from Brown University, specializing in Behavioral Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the same institution.
