Richard J. Moore has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, spanning over three decades. Richard J. started their career in 1989 as a Physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Over the years, they held various leadership positions, including Medical Director roles at L'Chaim Adult Day Health Center, San Francisco Towers, The Peninsula Regent, and Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus Adult Day Health Center. In 2009, they joined Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) as an Associate Medical Director, later progressing to the role of Senior Medical Director and serving as the Chief Medical Officer on an interim basis. Additionally, Richard has been actively involved with the San Mateo County Medical Association, assuming roles such as President, President Elect, and Secretary-Treasurer. Richard J. Moore attended the University of Nevada - Reno from 1977 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Zoology and Nutrition. Subsequently, from 1982 to 1986, they attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree with a focus on Medicine. Following this, from 1986 to 1989, Richard completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at California Pacific Medical Center (Children's Hospital of San Francisco).
