Rathi Pillai

Rathi Pillai currently serves as Senior Medical Director at Outpace Bio since May 2025. Prior experience includes Senior Medical Director roles at Arsenal Biosciences, Inc. from April 2023 to November 2024 and HUTCHMED from March 2021 to March 2023, as well as Medical Director positions at both organizations. Rathi Pillai began a career in academia as an Assistant Professor at Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University, from July 2013 to December 2019, following a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Emory University from July 2010 to June 2013. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UT Southwestern Medical Center, obtained from January 2003 to January 2007, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology and Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, completed from January 1998 to January 2002.
