Jeff Tarlowe

Jeff Tarlowe has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on financial and administrative roles. Jeff currently holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer at Health Plus Management, where they provide support and business development for independent physician practices. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Health Plus Management, overseeing financial operations and facilitating practice growth.

Before joining Health Plus Management, Tarlowe worked at Zenyth Partners as an Operating Partner and Group CFO. In this role, they collaborated with the Zenyth team and portfolio company leaders to enhance financial and operating performance and generate investment returns.

Tarlowe also held various leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, including CFO of OptumCare Delivery, East Region. During their tenure, they were responsible for the financial management of OptumCare markets in three states and achieved significant revenue growth.

Additionally, Tarlowe served as the CFO of ArroHealth (formerly MedSave USA, Inc.), where they successfully restructured and sold the healthcare services company. Jeff also played a key role in the rapid growth of the business and led M&A transactions, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Earlier in their career, Tarlowe was the COO and CFO of Centerphase Solutions, Inc., a venture with Mayo Clinic. Jeff launched an entrepreneurial venture that leveraged electronic medical records to streamline patient enrollment for clinical trials. Jeff also held leadership positions at Merck, where they co-founded Merck Capital Ventures and served as the CFO. Jeff achieved top-tier investment returns and led due diligence, deal negotiations, and portfolio company consultation.

Tarlowe's career at Merck also included roles such as VP of Financial Evaluations at Medco Health, where they executed strategies in the pharmacy benefit management market, and Director of Financial Evaluations & Analysis and Director of Treasury Operations.

Jeff Tarlowe earned their B.A. in Mathematics from Pomona College, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Jeff then pursued further education at Columbia Business School, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Finance, from 1986 to 1988.
