Elizabeth Haney

Elizabeth Haney M.A., CFE is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Assistant Controller and Part-Time Sr. Accountant at Health Quality Innovators since April 2022. As CEO of RVA Accountable, LLC since November 2021, Elizabeth has demonstrated leadership in financial management. Previously, Elizabeth held positions at the University of Virginia in Accounting from August 2019 to July 2023 and served as Financial Controller at WellcomeMD for a brief period. Elizabeth's extensive background includes significant roles at Goochland County Volunteer Fire-Rescue Association, Inc., where responsibilities included financial policy development and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, as well as risk management and revenue initiatives. Their career began in telecommunications with positions at Teleglobe and QWEST COMMUNICATIONS INTERNATIONAL LTD. Elizabeth holds an Accounting degree from the University of Virginia, a Master's degree in Telecommunications from The George Washington University, and additional education in trauma and critical care at Virginia Commonwealth University.
