Colleen McNamara

Colleen McNamara has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Colleen began their career at Hydra Biosciences in 2004 as a Senior Research Associate. After four years, they moved on to become a Scientist II at the same company from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, they transitioned to BGB Group where they worked as a Freelance Medical Writer for a few months before becoming a Medical Writer. Colleen eventually advanced to the position of Senior Medical Writer at BGB New York from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Health Science Communications as an Associate Medical Director before progressing to the roles of Medical Director, Senior Medical Director, and finally, VP of Medical & Scientific Services, which they currently hold.

Colleen McNamara completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from 2000 to 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry at Tufts University, where they received their degree in 2013.
