Christine is Managing Director, Medical Affairs at Health2047 Inc. She is an exceptional clinician who has served as a respected and effective leader in both hospital and academic settings. Previously a tenured professor of anesthesiology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine (currently Professor Emerita), she spent 15 years as the Anesthesiology Chair at Northwestern University where she helped secure millions in funding and oversaw various aspects of the legacy and current Northwestern Medicine clinical enterprises. In addition to being responsible for clinical care, education, faculty development, and research within her own department, she was instrumental in improving hospital operations and ensuring a smooth transition as Northwestern’s faculty practice plan was integrated with the hospital’s parent corporation to form a health system. Prior to Northwestern, Chris spent 15 years at Emory University’s School of Medicine, first as assistant professor of anesthesiology and internal medicine and later as a tenured associate professor of anesthesiology. She worked with several device manufacturers to develop innovative life support equipment, including the development of a novel form of ventilatory support. Her involvement in medicine at a national scale is unique and she is adept at cultivating positive, open, team-based cultures in multidisciplinary environments. She is passionate about driving success in new care delivery areas in the face of changing healthcare policy. Chris earned her MD and her BS in Medical Science from Northwestern and completed the University’s anesthesiology residency program and critical care medicine fellowship program.
