Ioakeim (Kimis) Perros

Ioakeim (Kimis) Perros has worked as a Lead Staff Machine Learning Scientist at HEALTH[at]SCALE Technologies since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Lead Machine Learning Scientist from June 2019 to March 2022. Ioakeim (Kimis) also worked as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2014 to May 2019. In addition, they were a Research Intern at Microsoft from May 2018 to August 2018. Ioakeim (Kimis) has also had experience as an RD&D Innovation Intern at Sutter Health from May 2017 to July 2017 and as a Research Assistant Intern at Weill Cornell Medicine from June 2016 to August 2016. Ioakeim (Kimis) started their career as a Research & Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Crete - ECE Dept. from October 2012 to August 2014.

Ioakeim (Kimis) Perros began their education at Lycée Léonin, where they obtained a Certificate of Graduation in General Lyceum in 2007. In 2007, they then enrolled at the Technical University of Crete and pursued a 5-year Diploma in Electronic & Computer Engineering, completing their studies in 2012. Building upon their foundation, Perros pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronic & Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, they continued their academic journey at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Science and Engineering in 2019.
