Joe Branciforte

Joe Branciforte has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Joe is currently working as the VP of Infrastructure at HealthEdge since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CVS Health from 2021 to 2022 as the Executive Director and Head of Integration Platform at Aetna, a CVS Health Company. In this role, they were responsible for creating the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the platform, focusing on service integration and data virtualization technologies.

Before joining CVS Health, Joe worked at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, for several years in various senior management positions. Joe was the Senior Director of Innovation & Emerging Technology from 2019 to 2021, where they led a team that leveraged transformative technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to drive innovation and advancement across the CVS Digital Ecosystem. Joe also played a key role in implementing AI-Enabled Chatbots for modernizing customer service.

Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Digital Delivery from 2017 to 2019, leading a 100-person organization that utilized transformative technologies and software products to enable a modern Digital Eco System. Joe also held the position of Director of Mobile Innovation and API Development from 2014 to 2017, where they led teams responsible for R&D of internal and external apps.

Before joining Aetna, Joe worked as an Application Development Manager and Sr. Technical Specialist at Raytheon from 1995 to 2010. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in technology, and a successful track record in managing high-impact projects.

Joe Branciforte earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1994. Joe also obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2021.
