John Groves

John Groves has extensive experience in compensation and HR operations. John is currently the Director of Compensation at HealthEquity. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Compensation at Safelite AutoGlass and the Director of Compensation and HR Operations at Root Insurance Company. John also held the position of Total Rewards Director, Global Support at Vertiv.

Before their roles at Root Insurance Company and Vertiv, John worked at Cardinal Health for several years, starting as a Sr. Consultant in Compensation and eventually becoming the Director of HR Service Center and the Director of Compensation. At Cardinal Health, they were responsible for managing various HR services and operations, supporting thousands of employees.

Additionally, John served as the Treasurer of the Columbus Compensation Association and worked as a Compensation Specialist at Nationwide Insurance. John began their career as a Project Accountant at the Auditor of State of Ohio.

John Groves completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology at Ohio State University from 1997 to 2002. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management at Ashland University from 2006 to 2010.
