Varon Cantrell MD, FAAP, FACP, CPE serves as the Chief Medical Officer at HealthNet Community Health Centers since June 2010, overseeing one of Indiana's largest Federally Qualified Health Centers, which includes service lines in Primary Care, OB/GYN, Dental, and Behavioral Health. In addition to this role, Varon Cantrell is the Medical Director for the Homeless Initiative Program, managing a team dedicated to serving homeless clients in Indianapolis. Varon Cantrell also holds positions as Chief Medical Information Officer and Primary Care Service Line Physician Leader, ensuring quality care across multiple health centers. Varon Cantrell contributes to medical education as a preceptor for Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Varon Cantrell holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Bio-Chemistry from Saint Joseph's College Indiana.
