Erma Howerzyl

Erma Howerzyl has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Erma is currently the Director of Surgical Services at HealthONE, starting in January 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Parker Adventist Hospital from 2009 to 2020. Erma'sroles included Assistant Nurse Manager, Surgical Nurse, Ortho Spine RN Clinical Coordinator, and Critical Care Registered Nurse. Erma also served as the RN Spine Clinical Coordinator, leading the spine program and ensuring quality care for patients. Before joining Parker Adventist Hospital, Erma worked at Denver Health from 2003 to 2009, holding positions such as Charge RN, Critical Care Registered Nurse, Staff RN, and Licensed Practical Nurse.

Erma Howerzyl has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Metropolitan State University of Denver, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of Denver from 2002 to 2004 and earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Erma Howerzyl also holds additional certifications such as ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association, obtained in September 2023, and PALS obtained in January 2018. In December 2017, they earned the Certified Nurse Operative Room (CNOR) certification from CCI.
