Seerat Poonia

Seerat Poonia has an extensive work experience in the medical field. In 2010, Seerat started as a Post-baccalaureate Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), where they worked until 2012. They then joined the University of Pennsylvania as an Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Resident Physician from 2016 to 2021. Following this, Seerat worked as an Otolaryngologist at SENTA ENT and Allergy Physicians from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, Seerat became a Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at the University of Miami Health System, where they stayed until 2023. Currently, Seerat holds the position of Head and Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgeon at HealthONE, starting in September 2023.

Seerat Poonia completed a Bachelor's degree in MCD Biology and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2010. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. In 2019, Seerat enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership in Quality, which lasted until 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a specialization in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami from 2022 to 2023.
