Jarrod Grossman has over 14 years of experience in the pharmacy industry. From 2006 to 2010, they held the role of Pharmacy Manager at Columbus Prescription Pharmacy, where they implemented a Health Mart program, provided immunizations and screenings for cholesterol and diabetes, created medical equipment showroom inventory control, delivered monthly health talks at local community centers, increased monthly prescription volume by 52%, decreased medical equipment inventory by 70%, implemented a better workflow to profit the orthotic and compression hose business, and developed a patient refill reminder program and a pharmacy follow up program for elderly patients prescribed medications on Beers’ list. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Pharmacy Operations Manager at Columbus Prescription Pharmacies Medication Management Pharmacy, LLC, where they developed and oversaw medication packaging and compliance program, and new assisted living client chart reviews. Jarrod also processed and dispensed prescriptions and conducted medication therapy management sessions. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Staff Pharmacist at Southgate Pharmacy. From 2010 to 2012, they were the VP Pharmacy and Product Development and Director of Pharmacy at HealthPlan Data Solutions, where they consulted with plan sponsors on PBM contracting to measure the impact of different contract segments, terms, and guarantees on the net price to payer. Jarrod also managed the clinical pharmacy, sales support, and audit teams, served as Lead Clinical Developer of therapeutic alternatives application, and designed Care Insight and Provider Insight platforms, the payment integrity system app, and PBM RFP system. Jarrod also managed all aspects of PBM audits for plan sponsors. From 2012 to present, they have been the Executive Director at PRO, Inc., where they advise clients and volunteers concerned about impaired pharmacies, intervenes in expected cases, coordinates the monitoring of clients per Drug Law of Ohio, develops a program for the annual conference on chemical dependency, updates monitoring protocols, coordinates monitoring and volunteer opportunities, and cultivates stakeholder relationships. Jarrod is also the Quality Development Manager/Pharmacy Eastern District Manager at REM Corporation, where they oversee the operations for the eastern district territory, serves as Project Lead for all business initiatives and patient care programs, SME on 3rd party contracts, pharmacy operating system, and state and federal compliance, and is the company preceptor for Ohio State Universities’ College of Pharmacy Partners for Promotion from 2013 to 2014. Jarrod has developed a central fill model that was approved by Ohio State Board of Pharmacy for central and compliance packaging pharmacy, organized the DMEPOS team into a functional unit for corporate-wide support, coordinated the development of the first corporate operating manual, implemented a new DME billing system, and executed the compliance review model for all pharmacies to remain compliant with all applicable federal and state laws.
