Tycho Tax is an experienced economic researcher and machine learning expert, currently serving as an Economic Researcher at Climate & Company since January 2021, focusing on sustainable finance and biodiversity risk quantification for WWF. Additionally, Tycho works as a Machine Learning Researcher at Healthplus.ai, specializing in infection risk prediction using time-series data. Previously, Tycho held the position of Head of Machine Learning at Tilt, where efforts were directed toward developing a platform for detecting disinformation. Additional roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Tomorrow, Head of Machine Learning at Heart for Health ICT, and Machine Learning Researcher at Corti, contributing to advancements in healthcare through AI. Tycho has also consulted for the WRR on AI's societal impacts and has a strong academic background with a Master of Science from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree with honors from Amsterdam University College.
