Amar Thakkar Pharmd

Amar Thakkar, PharmD, BS has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Amar started their career with Smart Rx Systems Inc. in 2018 serving as a Pharmacy Manager. In this role, they effectively managed pharmacy operations and ensured the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical services. In 2019, Amar was promoted to the position of Director of Pharmacy Operations, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and implemented strategies to improve operational efficiency.

In 2021, Amar joined HealthSmart as a Clinical Client Executive. In this role, they successfully developed and maintained client relationships while promoting the company's clinical products and services. Later in 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director of Clinical Products, highlighting their expertise in product development and management.

Amar Thakkar received their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from South College in the years 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Georgia State University. Amar has also acquired additional certifications, including a license as a Pharmacist from Florida Health in 2018, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, and certifications in Immunization and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) from the American Pharmacists Association.
