Cody Hayden

Cody Hayden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cody started their career as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at Briscoe Middle School, where they developed curriculums, provided tutoring, and conducted parent-teacher conferences. Cody then worked as a Project Employee at Alan Gray, Inc., where they organized data in spreadsheets and collaborated with teammates to complete projects. Cody then transitioned to roles at MilliporeSigma, first as a Quotation Specialist I and later as a Quotation Specialist II. In these positions, they optimized excel tracking systems, upgraded costing tools, and provided product information to managers. Cody then joined EY as a Staff Accountant - Tax, preparing tax forms, analyzing client-provided workpapers, and drafting memorandums. Cody continued their accounting career at Legends, where they served as an Accounting Associate and later as an Accountant. Cody reviewed and processed invoices, completed payment to creditors, and assisted in the preparation of financial statements. Cody'smost recent role is at HealthVerity, where they started as a Staff Accountant and progressed to Senior Accountant and currently serves as an Accounting Manager. In these positions, Cody managed month-end close processes, mentored and oversaw staff accountants, trained and onboarded new employees, and led the transition to new accounting systems.

Cody Hayden completed their education at Bentley University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Boston University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics Education. Additionally, Cody obtained certifications in Corporate Financial Statement Analysis and Learning VBA in Excel from LinkedIn in May 2020.
