Andrew Murphy

Andrew Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andrew started as an Angel Investor at Merleview in 2018, where they invested in early-stage and scaling companies. In 2019, they became a Partner at erisbeg, joining the founding team to invest in mature businesses in need of funding and growth expertise. Andrew also served as a Director at Medray Group in the same year. In 2021, Murphy became a Director at Health Care Informed (HCI) and Chris Mee Group. Prior to these roles, they were a Director at HealthXL, a leading advisory service for pharma and med-tech organizations, and Principal at Valinor Consulting, where they assisted companies in scaling and internationalization. Andrew also served as Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Robotify Labs, a rapidly growing EdTech company. Additionally, Murphy was a Commercial Advisor at Webdoctor.ie, Ireland's leading telehealth service. Andrew began their directorship at Claimsure Slainte Ireland Ltd in 2015 and continued to be involved after the divestment from Slainte Healthcare in 2015. Andrew Murphy attended Munster Technological University from 1994 to 1998, where they received a degree in Chemical and Process Engineering with a field of study in Chemical Engineering. From 2004 to 2006, they studied at the Michael Smurfit School of Business, earning a Masters of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business. In 2011, they participated in the Accelerated Growth Program at the University of Cambridge.
