Jason Keane

Jason Keane is the current UK General Manager at Healthy.io. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Patient from October 2016 to July 2021. At Patient, their mission was to empower people to take control of their health through personalised content and services that promote and sustain longer, healthier lives. In 2017, they led the successful spin out of both Patient Access and Patient.info from EMIS Group PLC to form a new subsidiary, Patient Platform Ltd.

As the CEO of Patient Platform Ltd., Jason Keane is responsible for setting the overall strategy and delivering the company's mission. The Patient Platform is a powerful data-led consumer healthcare platform that powers the UK’s No.1 primary care application, Patient Access, with over 12m users, and a global independent healthcare publishing business, Patient.info, with over 10m monthly unique users.

Patient Access is the UK's leading patient facing services application with 12m users, enabling patients to book GP appointments, order and track repeat prescriptions and message over 4,500 GP practises in the UK. In 2019, Patient Access also launched the UK’s first healthcare marketplace, enabling patients access to hundreds of local NHS and Private services on-demand. All of these services are delivered by Patient Access's trusted and curated partner network of pharmacies (1,500+) and allied health professionals (500+), such as physiotherapy and audiology.

Patient.info is a goal-oriented medical information site that produces health information people can trust. Its trusted clinical information, written and reviewed by its network of doctors and healthcare

Jason Keane has a MBS in Marketing from University College Dublin, a Single Summer Semester Course in International Business from Harvard Business School, and a B. Comm in Accounting, Marketing, Economics from University College Dublin.
