HLAA National Hearing Loop Advocate at Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA)

Juliëtte Sterkens, AuD, currently serves as the HLAA National Hearing Loop Advocate at the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) since May 2012, where responsibilities include increasing awareness about hearing loss and promoting the adoption of hearing loops to enhance hearing accessibility. Previously, Juliëtte held the position of President at Fox Valley Hearing Center, Inc. from June 1983 to June 2014, and was a Managing Partner at Fox Valley Hearing Loop from 2008 to 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as a Speech Language Pathologist at Audiologisch Centrum Eindhoven in the Netherlands from 1979 to 1981. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (2006), a Master's of Science in Audiology from UW-Oshkosh (1983), and a degree in Speech Pathology and Hearing Therapy from Revalidatie Academie "Hoensbroeck" in the Netherlands (1979).
