Mara Zepeda

Mara Zepeda is an accomplished entrepreneur and consultant with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Darla Moore School of Business since September 2022, Mara is also a Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor at Zebras Unite, where the focus is on fostering a cooperative economy. Prior to these positions, Mara was a Senior Consultant and Board Member at Hearken, Inc., and has held various fellowships, including with The RSA and the University of Colorado Boulder. As the Co-Founder of Switchboard, Mara helped create an engagement platform for educational institutions. Additionally, Mara operated a successful calligraphy studio, Neither Snow, and worked as an independent reporter for several notable media outlets, including NPR. Educational credentials include an MS in Digital Media from Columbia University and a BA in Russian from Reed College.
