Rod Howard

Rod Howard has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product and UX design. Rod is currently a Principal Product Designer at Hearsay Systems since 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at the same company from 2019 to 2023. Before joining Hearsay Systems, Rod worked as a Senior UX Designer at SingleComm from 2014 to 2019. There, they were involved in designing a leading call center scripting platform and spearheaded the redesign of an omnichannel communication platform. From 2012 to 2019, Rod also ran their own company called Rod Howard Design, where they served as a UX Designer & Strategist and developed various user interface products for mobile and desktop devices. Additionally, they worked as a Lead UI Designer at Sport Habitats, LLC from 2009 to 2012 and as a Frontend UI Developer at Jbytes, LLC from 2008 to 2009. Overall, Rod Howard has proven expertise in product design, UX design, and front-end development.

Rod Howard completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Nevada State University in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the College of Southern Nevada in 2006. In 2020, they obtained a certification as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM.
