Surinder Simmons

Surinder Simmons has over 24 years of experience in human resources. Surinder currently serves as the Chief People Officer for Hearst Europe since January 2020. Prior to this, Surinder was the HR Director for Hearst Magazine UK from November 2014 to January 2020. Surinder also held the position of Head of Human Resources at Hearst UK from December 2012 to January 2020. Before joining Hearst UK, Surinder was the Head of Human Resources for Sony Ericsson UK & Ireland from March 2008 to December 2012. Surinder also served as the Head of Human Resources for Virgin Media from January 2001 to December 2007. Surinder started their career as a Lead HR Consultant at ntl from November 1999 to January 2001. Surinder then worked as an Assistant HR Manager at Games Workshop from May 1997 to November 1999. Surinder began their professional journey as a Graduate Store Personnel Manager at ASDA in 1996.

Surinder Simmons completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire between 1992 and 1995.
