Jeff Israel

Jeff Israel is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Director at HearstLab, Jeff supports pre-seed and seed stage women-led startups in overcoming engineering challenges. Jeff is also the founder of Code Finds A Way, providing guidance to startups on MVP development and team management. Previous roles include Director of Technology at RepSource, where Jeff advised a healthcare startup, and Director of Engineering at Bestow Life Insurance and Kazoo, focusing on team mentorship and product development. Jeff's career includes significant contributions to Codé Nast and TabbedOut, with a solid foundation in software engineering from Leidos and Booz Allen Hamilton. Jeff holds an M.S. in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
