Peter Nelson

Peter Nelson has a strong legal background with experience in various roles. Peter worked at Heart Aerospace as Head of Legal and previously served as Senior Legal Counsel. Before Heart Aerospace, they were an Emerging Companies Attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where they provided counsel to startups and founders. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Policy & Law Attorney/Advisor at K&L Gates, where they advised and advocated for startups and tech companies in the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. Peter also worked as a Corporate & Securities Attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where they advised foreign airlines on their U.S. launches.

Peter Nelson completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Economy from Georgetown University between 2006 and 2009. Before that, they attended Phillips Academy from 2001 to 2005. Peter further pursued their education by attending the University of Virginia School of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
