Zane Kampenusa

Zane Kampenusa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, Zane is serving as the Director of Quality Systems at HeartFlow, Inc. Zane previously held the positions of Senior Manager and Manager of Quality Systems at the same company. In their role as Quality Specialist Lead, Zane successfully facilitated external audits and maintained compliance with EN ISO 13485:2016 standards. Zane also managed the company's corrective and preventive action system, updated standard operating procedures, and performed supplier evaluations. Before joining HeartFlow, Zane worked as a Pharmacovigilance Coordinator and Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Meda Pharma. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Expert at the Food and Veterinary Service and as a Senior Administrative Expert at the State Agency of Medicines in Latvia. Overall, Zane has demonstrated expertise in quality systems, regulatory affairs, and administrative functions throughout their career.

Zane Kampenusa completed their education in a chronological manner. Zane obtained a Bachelor of Natural Sciences in Chemistry from Riga Technical University in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, specializing in the Faculty of Material Science and Applied Chemistry, which they completed in 2008 at Riga Technical University. In 2008, Zane enrolled in the College of Law, where they became an Assistant to a Lawyer until 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in the field of quality management systems and auditing, including ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor, Optimizing CAPA Programs for the Medical Device Industry, and Quality Management System Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015), inclusive of ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 13485:2016.
